First-Class Passage

Haunted Encounters Passage

Individual Tours
Guided tours are available for groups of 20 or more people from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, with a prior reservation. After hours tours are available after 4:00 p.m. Cost and rates vary depending on tour.

Behind-the-Scenes Guided Tour
This guided walking tour offers you a deeper look into the ship's history; from her construction and launch to her passenger service and days as a troopship. ($12/adult and $12/child age 5-11)

World War II Guided Tour
Learn the story of the Grey Ghost, THE QUEEN MARY's^SM alias during World War II, and how her involvement in the war helped lead the allied forces to victory. ($12/adult and $12/child age 5-11)

Ghosts and Legends Show
Dare to experience this interactive, special effects show highlighting the ship's famous paranormal hotspots as our guide walks you through the ship's haunted past. ($10/Adult, $10/Senior 55+, and $8/Child 5-11)

Take a journey through a porthole to history by bringing your students aboard the historic Queen Mary for your next field trip. Bring world history and art to life with an exciting, educational visit to this historic ocean liner and World War II troop transport ship.

A trip to THE QUEEN MARY^SM encourages classroom lectures and discussions regarding her history and artwork. The Queen Mary holds one of the world's single largest collections of original Art Deco works and decor.

Learn about her construction, launching, maiden voyage, service in World War II and final voyage to her current home in Long Beach. Explore the Engine Room and discover the huge boiler tanks that produced enough steam for the turbine engines to propel THE QUEEN MARY^SM to speed records for transatlantic crossings she held for 14 years. Students will visit the Propeller Box and see the last remaining propeller on THE QUEEN MARY^SM. Students will also be exposed to nautical vocabulary terms and how they relate to their everyday life.

Option 2: Captain for the Day
includes 1-hour Guided Educational tour, plus Self-Guided Shipwalk Tour and Pizza Lunch with a slice of pizza, drink and cookie

Note: Locations featured on the Educational Tour are based upon availability. Educational Tour packages must be arranged in advance. One chaperone per 10 students is required. Please have at least three (3) preferred visit dates, as well as your school's contact information (phone number, fax number and address) available when booking.

Ship's Officer Meet & Greet or General Welcome
Ship's Officer Meet & Greet or General Welcome. Enhance your event with the presence of a Ship's Officer who will interact with your guests. ($150-Meet & Greet/hour and $50-Welcome/20 minutes)

Historical Strolling Characters
Enhance your visit by a performance by one of our Strolling Characters. The characters will describe their experiences when they sailed aboard THE QUEEN MARY^SM. ($200/hour per character)

Ship's Officer Slide Show Presentation
Learn about THE QUEEN MARY^SM with a 45-minute slide show narrated by one of our Ship’s Officers. Audio/visual equipment is included in the presentation fee. ($300/presentation)
